ISSA's catalog covers the credentials Central Texas employers actually ask for. Foundational certifications include Certified Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Group Exercise Instructor. From there, specializations let you go deep in the areas our own coaching team works in every day: senior fitness and balance, corrective exercise, glute and hypertrophy programming, bodybuilding, youth fitness, exercise therapy, and behavior-change coaching. Bundled programs pair a certification with two or three specializations so you finish with a marketable niche rather than a single generic card.
Courses are fully online and self-paced, with digital textbooks, quizzes, practice exams, and an open-book final you take at home. Most students finish a certification in eight to twelve weeks studying a few hours a week, though you have longer if life gets busy. Every ISSA certification is NCCA-accredited or nationally recognized, accepted by gyms and studios nationwide, and renewable with continuing education units you can also complete through ISSA.

- Do I need a degree or gym experience to enroll?
- No. Entry-level certifications require that you are 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent, plus current CPR/AED certification before you begin training clients. Prior gym experience helps but is not required.

- Does finishing a certification mean I have a job at Victory?
