Metabolic Health Coaching in Austin, TX
Steadier energy, fewer cravings and a body composition that keeps improving start with how you handle blood sugar. This guide brings together everything Victory offers for metabolic health — testing, coaching and free resources — in one place.

Metabolic health, in plain terms
Metabolic health is how well your body turns food into energy without large swings in blood sugar, blood fats or blood pressure. It is usually tracked with five markers: fasting glucose, triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, blood pressure and waist size.
Most people find out about metabolic problems late, from one annual lab value. Our approach as a health coaching practice is earlier and more practical: measure what is happening day to day, then build a few habits around it — protein and fiber at meals, walking after eating, regular strength work and better sleep.
We do not diagnose or manage medication. If you see a physician for diabetes, prediabetes or a GLP-1 medication, coaching works alongside that care and we are happy to share summaries with your clinician.
Six areas of metabolic health we coach
Each area links to the page that covers it in depth, so you can go straight to the part that matters to you.
Blood sugar and glucose patterns
Annual labs show one fasting number. A coach-guided glucose monitoring block shows how your real meals, sleep and stress move your curves day to day.
- Continuous glucose monitoringA 10–14 day sensor block with a coach review.
- How to read a CGM graphSpikes, time in range and variability explained.
Body composition and metabolic rate
Muscle is your largest glucose sink. Knowing your muscle, body fat and visceral fat tells you whether progress is real — not just a scale number.
- InBody body composition scanMuscle, fat and visceral fat in about a minute.
- Metabolic Intelligence ProgramGlucose, metabolic testing and coaching together.
Nutrition you can repeat
Protein, fiber, meal order and fewer sugary drinks are the habits that most often flatten glucose swings. Coaching turns them into meals you will actually eat.
- Nutrition coachingPractical food habits with weekly accountability.

Movement and strength
A short walk after meals and two to three strength sessions a week are among the most reliable ways to improve how your body handles glucose.
- Personal trainingStrength coaching in Hutto, West Lake Hills or virtually.
- VO₂ max testingMeasure cardiorespiratory fitness and train by zones.
Weight, sleep and stress
Short sleep and chronic stress raise next-day glucose before you eat anything. Weight-loss coaching works on all three, alongside any prescriber you already see.

The sensory-metabolic link
The inner ear depends on tiny blood vessels that glucose swings can affect. Few practices connect metabolic and hearing health; we do, while keeping hearing care with its own clinic.

Metabolic health questions
- What is metabolic health?
- Metabolic health describes how well your body manages blood sugar, blood fats, blood pressure and waist size. Researchers commonly use five markers — fasting glucose, triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, blood pressure and waist circumference — and only a minority of U.S. adults have all five in a healthy range.
- How can I improve my metabolic health?
- The habits with the strongest evidence are regular strength training, walking after meals, enough protein and fiber, fewer sugary drinks, seven or more hours of sleep and stress management. Coaching helps you choose two or three to start with and keep them going.
- Do I need a diagnosis to work on metabolic health with Victory?
- No. Many clients have normal labs and simply want steadier energy or better body composition. If you have diabetes, prediabetes or take glucose-lowering medication, we coach alongside the clinician who manages that care; medical decisions stay with them.
- Which test should I start with?
- It depends on your question. An InBody scan is the fastest baseline for muscle and fat, a CGM block shows day-to-day glucose patterns, and the Metabolic Intelligence Program bundles several measurements. A free consultation helps you pick the one that answers your question first.
- Is metabolic health coaching available virtually?
- Yes. Coaching sessions can happen by secure video. In-clinic measurements such as InBody scans happen at our Hutto or West Lake Hills clinics.
