Medical Weight Loss in Austin, TX

Austin adults looking into GLP-1 medication usually have two questions: is it appropriate for me, and who actually decides? At Victory, coaching comes first — and any medication decision belongs to an independent licensed provider, never to a sales page. We handle the measurement, nutrition and accountability layers that make either path work.

How the Austin program works

Every medical weight loss plan at Victory starts the same way regardless of medication: an InBody body composition scan, a conversation about what has derailed past attempts, and a nutrition and strength plan built around your actual week. If you are exploring GLP-1 medication or peptide therapy, the next step is a medical intake with our partner platform, where an independent licensed provider reviews your history and decides whether treatment is appropriate.

That split matters. Victory does not make medication decisions — our role is the coaching, testing and logistics support around whatever the provider decides. Some Austin clients work with us for coaching alone; others combine provider-authorized treatment with weekly check-ins, protein targets and strength programming so that what comes off is fat rather than muscle.

Because Austin traffic is a planning constraint, visits are deliberately sparse: an in-person scan and review roughly every six to eight weeks, with video coaching in between. Most clients time their clinic day around work — early morning before the commute or lunchtime from the domain, downtown or South Congress.

Getting here from Austin

The West Lake Hills clinic sits at 3811 Bee Caves Road, Suite 101, about fifteen minutes from downtown via Bee Caves Road with no highway merge. For clients in north Austin, Round Rock or Pflugerville, the Hutto clinic at 201 E. Wilco Highway is usually faster, straight up I-35 or SH-130.

Neither visit requires a full afternoon. A typical clinic day is a scan, a structured review of the last six weeks and an updated plan — under an hour in the building. Everything else, including the coaching conversations where the real adjustments happen, happens on video from wherever you are in the city.

If you live outside the Austin metro entirely, the coaching program still works: virtual visits run in all 50 states and U.S. territories. Provider network availability for the medical evaluation can vary by state, which we walk through honestly on the first call.

What Austin medical weight loss clients get

  • A coaching-first program

Nutrition, strength and behavior coaching form the base of the plan — with or without medication.

  • Provider evaluations handled properly

Interest in GLP-1 medication goes through a medical intake to an independent licensed provider who makes the decision.

  • InBody scans that separate fat from muscle

The number that predicts whether a plan is working, measured on a schedule instead of guessed at daily.

  • Nutrition built for Austin schedules

Protein and structure planned around your commute, your favorite restaurants and the groceries you already buy.

  • Strength programming to protect lean mass

Two to three sessions a week designed to keep metabolism on your side while the scale moves.

  • Video check-ins between clinic visits

Weekly or biweekly coaching from your home or office, so the drive is never the reason a plan stalls.

Questions

Austin medical weight loss FAQs

Locations, medication decisions, cost and how the coaching and provider roles divide.

Where does the medical evaluation happen?
The medical intake is completed through our partner platform, and the independent licensed provider's evaluation is typically done by telehealth. Victory's in-person services — scans, testing and coaching visits — happen at the Hutto or West Lake Hills clinic.
Which clinic is closest to me in Austin?
Central and west Austin are usually closest to the West Lake Hills clinic on Bee Caves Road; north Austin, Round Rock and Pflugerville residents tend to prefer the Hutto clinic on E. Wilco Highway. Pick whichever keeps your clinic day under thirty minutes.
Does the program require GLP-1 or other medication?
No. Medication is entirely optional and only exists in the program if an independent licensed provider decides it is appropriate for you. Many Austin clients work with Victory on coaching, nutrition and body composition alone.
Who decides whether I qualify for weight loss medication?
Only the independent licensed provider, based on your health history, medications, lab work when needed and their clinical judgment. Victory coaches do not screen, approve or order medication — and we will tell you plainly if the provider decides treatment is not appropriate.
How much does the program cost in Austin?
Coaching and testing are priced on our pricing page and billed by Victory. Any medical evaluation, medication or pharmacy costs are separate and set by the provider and pharmacy, not by us — the full picture is reviewed before you commit to anything.
