Rollingwood sits between downtown Austin and our West Lake Hills clinic, so most clients here book in-person visits by default and use video only when the calendar demands it.
West Lake Hills clinic details & directionsShort drive, tighter feedback loop
Proximity changes what a program can look like. When the clinic is five minutes away, a twenty-minute scan-and-adjust visit is realistic on a Tuesday morning, and we can shorten the interval between measurements rather than waiting a full quarter to find out whether something worked.
In practice that means Rollingwood clients often run a tighter cycle: baseline testing, a four-week block, a quick in-person review, then a longer block. Faster feedback tends to mean fewer months spent on a plan that was never going to work.
It also makes lab-led work easier. Draws happen at the clinic, results are reviewed in person rather than over a portal message, and follow-up panels get scheduled on the spot instead of drifting.
Built for a professional's calendar
Most people we see from Rollingwood are working full days downtown or from home with back-to-back calls. The failure mode is not motivation — it is that the plan assumed ninety free minutes a day that do not exist.
So we design around the actual constraint. Strength sessions are two to three per week and thirty-five minutes. Nutrition targets are set as defaults for the meals you already buy rather than recipes you would have to cook. Sleep is treated as a scheduling problem with a fixed wake time before it is treated as anything else.
Clients who want more precision layer on continuous glucose monitoring or metabolic testing to see how their specific week — the late client dinner, the 6 a.m. flight, the skipped lunch — actually affects them. Most do not need it, and we will say so.
Common starting points for Rollingwood clients
Annual measurement round
InBody, resting metabolic rate and a lab panel once a year, reviewed together in one sitting.
Stress and sleep reset
A six-week focus on wake time, evening wind-down and caffeine placement.
Body recomposition
Holding weight steady while lean mass rises and body fat falls — tracked by scan.
Return to lifting
A rebuild for people who used to train hard and stopped somewhere around 2019.
Blood sugar clarity
Short-term glucose monitoring to see which meals and habits actually spike you.
Pre-travel tune-up
A compressed plan before a long trip, with a clear re-entry point when you land.
How the four-week cycle runs
- Step 1
Baseline visit
Testing and a written plan, in one appointment.
- Step 2
Week two check-in
A fifteen-minute video call to remove friction early.
- Step 3
Week four review
In-person, with a rescan when the goal calls for one.
- Step 4
Next block
One or two changes carried forward, the rest left alone.
Rollingwood wellness coaching FAQs
Scheduling, lab draws and what a first visit actually looks like.
- Can I book early-morning appointments before work?
- Clinic hours run 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, and the 9:00 AM slots are the first to go with Rollingwood clients heading downtown afterwards. Booking those a few weeks out is the reliable approach.
- Do I need to fast before my first appointment?
- Only if we have planned a lab draw for that visit, in which case we will tell you in advance. An InBody scan is more accurate on an empty stomach and without a heavy workout beforehand, but nothing about a first consultation requires fasting.
- Are lab draws done at the clinic or somewhere else?
- Draws are done on site at our West Lake Hills clinic for most panels, which is a two-minute drive from Rollingwood. Specialty panels occasionally route through a Quest location, and we hand you the paperwork with the address when that happens.
- How much of the program is done in person versus online?
- It is your call. Because you are minutes away, many Rollingwood clients choose in-person for every visit, while others keep the short check-ins on video and reserve in-person time for testing and quarterly reviews.
- Can my spouse and I be coached together?
- Yes. Shared households usually share a kitchen and a schedule, so coaching two people together often works better than coaching one. Each person still gets their own measurements, plan and file.
