Nutrition Coaching in Austin, TX
Goal-based nutrition coaching from board-certified health and wellness coaches — food, habits and body-composition targets built around how you actually live. Educational coaching that works alongside your physician, not in place of medical care.
How our coaching works
Start from your goal, not a template
Fat loss, more energy, better digestion and building muscle need different food strategies. We pick one primary goal and build around it so the plan stays followable.
Food first, supplements last
Whole-food changes come before anything you buy. When a targeted supplement makes sense, it is a small addition to a working plan, never the plan itself.
Your kitchen, your budget, your week
Coaching adapts to how you actually eat — takeout nights, family meals, travel and shift work included. Nothing here assumes you cook every meal from scratch.
Weekly accountability
A regular check-in with the same coach is what separates a plan that works from a plan that lives in a document. Visits are in clinic or by secure video.

- Continuous glucose monitoringSee how your own meals move your glucose, then adjust with your coach.
Your first 90 days
Weeks 1–2 · Baseline
We map what you already eat in a normal week — including the takeout, the commute, and the nights nobody cooks. If you add an InBody scan or a resting metabolic rate test, this is when we take it, so later changes are measured against real numbers instead of the scale alone.
Weeks 3–6 · Two changes at a time
Most clients start with a protein floor at breakfast and a fiber target, because those two moves quiet afternoon hunger faster than anything else we could ask for. Your coach adjusts weekly rather than handing you a document to follow alone.
Weeks 7–12 · Make it durable
Once the basics hold, we stress-test them against travel, holidays, youth sports schedules and dinners out. A retest at week 12 shows whether lean mass held while fat mass moved — the distinction that tells us if the plan is working.
Coaching around Austin-area life
Where you live shapes what a workable plan looks like. Clients driving in from Round Rock and Pflugerville usually need breakfast and lunch that survive a commute, so we build around portable protein and a grocery run that covers both. Families in Hutto and Taylor more often need one dinner the whole household will eat, with the plate adjusted per person rather than separate meals cooked twice.
Clients near West Lake Hills and central Austin tend to eat out several times a week, so we work from actual menus — what to order at the places you already go — instead of pretending those meals do not happen. Trail runners and cyclists training on the Veloway or the greenbelt get fueling built around session timing.
In-person visits run at whichever clinic is closer, and every coaching visit is available by secure video if a drive across the metro at 5 p.m. is the thing standing between you and a check-in.

What Austin clients ask most before starting nutrition coaching with Victory.
- Are your nutrition coaches dietitians?
- Our coaches are board-certified health and wellness coaches, not licensed dietitians. We provide educational, goal-based nutrition coaching and coordinate with your physician or a registered dietitian when a condition calls for medical nutrition therapy.
- How is nutrition coaching different from a meal plan?
- A meal plan tells you what to eat this week. Coaching builds the decision-making skills, targets and habits that keep working after the plan ends, adjusted with you every week based on how your body responds.
- Do I need testing before nutrition coaching?
- No, but an InBody body-composition scan gives us a baseline worth having, and a resting metabolic rate test tells us your actual calorie needs instead of an estimate. Both are optional add-ons.
- Can nutrition coaching happen virtually?
- Yes. Nutrition coaching visits run by secure video in all 50 states and U.S. territories, with the same coach and cadence as in-clinic visits.
- Where are your nutrition coaches located in Austin?
- We see clients at our Hutto clinic on E. Wilco Highway and our West Lake Hills clinic on Bee Caves Road, serving Austin, Round Rock, Pflugerville and the surrounding communities.
- How much food logging does nutrition coaching involve?
- Most clients log for the first two to three weeks so we can see real patterns — protein at breakfast, evening snacking, weekend swings — then taper to spot checks. If logging has fed disordered eating for you in the past, we skip it entirely and coach from meal structure and photos instead.
- Will you tell me to cut out carbs, gluten or dairy?
- Not as a default. We start by adding what is missing — usually protein, fiber and produce — because that alone changes how most people feel. Removals happen only when your own symptoms or glucose data point to a specific food, and we plan the reintroduction at the same time.
- Can nutrition coaching work around a medication my doctor manages?
- Yes, and it often should. Clients on GLP-1 medication, blood-pressure medication, thyroid medication or insulin frequently need food changes to match — protein and fiber targets to protect lean mass, or meal timing that fits a dosing schedule. Your clinician keeps managing the medication; we handle the food and habit side and share notes when you ask us to.
- How much does nutrition coaching cost?
- Nutrition coaching is included in the H.E.A.L.T.H. Program tiers, and stand-alone coaching blocks are available month to month. Current pricing for every option is listed on our pricing page, and your free consultation ends with a written recap of what your plan would cost.
