Why This Assessment

Measured data instead of impressions — and a report that travels with you.

Fast and Objective

The screening takes about five minutes and is self-administered using a simple dial-style interface. Because it isn't scored by a person in the room, there's no room for tester bias.

FDA-Cleared Technology

The Cognivue Thrive device is built on FDA-cleared technology. It adapts dynamically to each individual as they move through the test rather than applying one fixed sequence to everyone.

A Real Baseline, Not a Guess

The automated report gives you and your care team an objective, easy-to-understand baseline you can track and compare against over time — instead of relying on a subjective impression.

What's Measured

  • Memory
  • Visuospatial ability
  • Executive function
  • Two speed-of-performance measures

Why This Matters

Establishing a cognitive baseline early means changes can be identified sooner, when there is more opportunity to address modifiable risk factors. Hearing health is one recognized modifiable contributor to cognitive health when addressed in midlife — and because Victory Health & Wellness works alongside Victory Hearing & Balance, this assessment fits naturally into a coordinated hearing-and-cognition approach. Routine screening simply gives you and your care team better information to work with.

How It Works

Four steps from booking to a report you can share.

  1. Book Your Assessment

Schedule a Cognitive Assessment at our Hutto or West Lake Hills clinic.

  2. Take the Test

A short, self-administered screening using a simple dial-style interface, typically completed in about five minutes.

  3. Get Your Report

Receive an automated, easy-to-understand report of your results.

  4. Review With Your Coach

Your Victory coach walks through your results and, if appropriate, coordinates findings with your physician or the Victory Hearing & Balance team.

Who This Is For

  • Adults wanting a proactive cognitive health baseline
  • Clients with hearing loss, since hearing and cognitive health are closely linked
  • Clients with a family history of cognitive decline
  • Clients in the H.E.A.L.T.H. Program focused on healthy aging and longevity
  • Anyone who wants an objective way to track cognitive health over time, not just a subjective impression

Integrates With Your Other Care

Hearing health and cognitive health are closely connected. Victory Health & Wellness works alongside the audiology team at Victory Hearing & Balance, so hearing and cognitive assessments can be coordinated as part of one care picture rather than handled in isolation.

This screening also pairs well with the Balance & Fall Risk Assessment and the H.E.A.L.T.H. Program for clients focused on healthy aging.

Questions

Cognitive assessment questions

What the screening involves, what it costs, and how the results fit with your medical care.

What does the test actually involve?
It's a short, self-administered screening using a simple dial-style interface. It looks at memory, visuospatial ability, and executive function, plus two speed-of-performance measures, and is typically completed in about five minutes.
Is this a diagnosis?
No. The device is an adjunctive screening tool, not a stand-alone diagnostic test, and it does not identify the presence or absence of any clinical diagnosis. Results are meant to be assessed and interpreted by a licensed clinician as part of a broader care picture — see our Scope of Care page for what coaching does and does not include.
How much does it cost?
$40, which includes the assessment and your automated report.
Is this covered by insurance or FSA/HSA?
Wellness, lifestyle, and overall health appointments and services are self-pay. FSA/HSA cards may be used when a service is deemed medically necessary by your provider; we can provide an itemized receipt for reimbursement.
How often should I retest?
Routine, periodic screening helps establish a baseline and identify changes early. Your coach can suggest a cadence based on your results and your goals.
Can I share my results with my doctor?
Yes. The report is designed to be shared with your physician or care team as part of coordinated care.
